I love the feel & rhythm of fiber.. like the composition of a good folk song, the story each skein holds of the yearning to adorn, to be adored, the magic of dying rich colours, & spinning to the meditative beats of the wheel, a joyous fiber song!
I graduated in 1994 with a BA(Visual Arts).. many moons later, I have birthed 3 babies (2 of which are twins) - and since then, a steady flow of fiber has become my soul-food, with which I colour, create & transform into yarn & fiber supplies for vivacious yarnivors.
Come dance with me... indulge in some yarn p0rn.. & fluff your fingers in some fiberliciousness.. you know it feels goooooood!
Favorite Tea or Tea type ie. black, green, herbal,:
Tea i consume mostly if it's Chai, or ice tea in the summertime.
Are you a Pyro:
not deliberately
What is your favorite craft or form of art to do:
spinning yarn, fluffing my fingers into a pillow of fibery goodness & turning it into felt, or knitting SPUNky yarn creations.. i have been found crocheting into the wee hours of the morning (delerium is the only way i can truly find my way with crochet..it's a freeform-fluid kinda thang!)
Do you like to Dance (if any what style, ie. belly, club, fire, tap,)
i have been know to belly dance, but now getting into African drum & dance with www.handsheartfeet.com . Fire i used to dance with on the ends of a broom pole that i made into a firestick, way back when i was a uni graduate.. i wonder if i could still do it now?? i'm still trying to teach my 3year old twins to juggle - perhaps the fire will have to wait till they're a little older *-"
